About me

I am a Switzerland based web developer. I work for Liip AG, doing Symfony based API projects. I have many years of experience with the PHP ecosystem. I also work with Varnish, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ and sometimes with Nginx and HAProxy. I happen to have a PhD in computer science from the University of Fribourg.

I occasionally speak at PHP conferences. I am involved with a couple of Open Source projects. I maintain the FOSHttpCache library, a PHP tool to work with HTTP caches, am a founding member of HTTPlug and of the Symfony CMF project.

This blog is mainly a reference of my public speaking activity, with occasional posts on other things, though mostly also code related until you dig to the very oldest posts ;-).
